So.............remember when I was like "it feels so good to finally be able to breathe" ?
Well.
I forgot to.
At least.
I don't know.
But I defintely got home from the hospital last night.
In Lorain, there's one theatre. But we're not a boony little country town, we're right outside of cleveland, so you can drive anywhere and find something to do, but it's usually hard to find something to do in lorain.
a n y w a y s.
So we have our own littler theatre that plays movies on the weekends for little kids and for people who've missed the movies that have been out for a month and are soon going to be retired.
So yesterday, there was a big annual choir concert at the Palace Civic Center. It involved two of the local highschools of lorain singing with a community choir from Ahmerst, a neighboring town. And its a big deal. The theatre was packed. And so we go down the row, pass the thousand or so people waiting to here the retelling of the story of christmas with caroling, and we're onstage, and we're singing, and were doing our thing.
And then we start sing We Three Kings. And I get so sick. I get so unbelievably sick like I've never been sick before. And I'm so used to performing and being on stage; beit singing, dancing, acting, or playing one of my many insturments. But this sickness took over me, and I couldnt sing. So I figured, focus on the director. And shes conducting away, as the bass and the tenors take over the song. And Im just focused. Focused on this raven-blakc haired woman, and just watching everything around her get dark, and black.
And after that I don't remember.
All I remember is light, and people singing and thinking to myself, "was that a dream? Don't I have something important to do today? Why can't I open my eyes? what's going on?"
And I'm being shook, and I force myself to open my eyes, and theres people all around me. Asking if I was ok. Asking it I could talk. I didn't know what happened.
But apparently, I fainted. On stage. on metal risers. on the top one. 1000 watching. 1000 singing.
Needless to say, played at the hospital for the rest of the night.
Had my first Cat Scan, IV, EKG, and Pregnancy test (Not that I was going to be pregnant or warrant any activities that would lead the suspicion to it... but apparently before a cat scan, you need to be tested... and as Scotty the LPN rolled me to the Cat Scan room... I looked at the SONOGRAM PICTURES INSIDE THE ROOM. WHAT THE HELL.)
So that was fun.
Thought I'd share that with you guys.
No more stress.
I think Im going to spend my week on the couch being jolly.
But I just wanted to give everyone a heads up.
Don't forget to breathe.
